LaNorris Sellers: A Brief Biography
LaNorris Sellers plays quarterback for the South Carolina Gamecocks in college football. As of October 2025, he is in his sophomore season. He was listed as the 16th-best quarterback in the nation, the fourth-best prospect in the state, and ranked No. 246 overall in the 247Sports Composite at the end of his high school career.
Before deciding to sign with the University of South Carolina, he initially committed to play collegiate football at the University of Virginia and later at Syracuse University.

LaNorris Sellers College Career
LaNorris Sellers joined the program in January 2023 and appeared in three games as a true freshman. In addition to rushing five times for 51 yards and a touchdown, he completed all four of his passes for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Sellers participated in 12 of 13 games as a redshirt freshman, missing the entire Akron game and the second half of the LSU game due to an ankle ailment. He gained 2,534 yards on 196 of 299 passes. He tied for tenth place in school history with 18 touchdown throws in a season, and his 65.6 completion percentage placed seventh.
LaNorris Sellers High School Career
LaNorris Sellers received his diploma from South Florence (S.C.) High School in December 2022. He was the only quarterback the Gamecocks signed from the 2023 class. In his senior year, Sellers led the Bruins to a 4A state championship by throwing for 2,948 yards with 45 touchdowns and just two interceptions, while rushing for 1,338 yards and 17 touchdowns.
He received the Florence Morning News Player of the Year award and was a finalist for the state's Mr. Football title. He completed nine of thirteen throws for 121 yards and one touchdown, leading the Sandlappers to win in the Carolinas Shrine Bowl. Additionally, he was named offensive MVP after rushing for 41 yards on 12 carries.
