Also known as the Paleozoic Pokemon, the critter was released during the Bug Out event on August 14, 2022, via 5-star Raid Battles. Chill Drive Genesect raids barely take place in the mobile game, and trainers have not seen their return ever since the introduction of the monster. Thankfully, that is about to change.

Shiny Chill Genesect will be available in 5-star raids, for the first time, as part of the Just My Cup of Tea event. It will start on December 3, 2024, at 10:00 am and end on December 7, 2024, at 8:00 pm local time.

1) Defeat Raid Battles

The Drive form of Chill Genesect is a Mythical Bug and Steel-type Pokemon. Therefore, if you want to beat this powerhouse, you must exploit its weaknesses.

It is extremely vulnerable to Fire-type attacks, and the game features many pocket monsters that can take advantage of that. Fire-type Pokemon are the best options since they can benefit from the STAB and Weather Boost effect to inflict additional damage to Chill Genesect in Pokemon GO.
