There are multiple methods to get Joltik in Pokemon GO, such as catching in the wild, hatching eggs, and beating raid battles, among others. The Attaching Pokemon, another name for Joltik, was introduced in the game with the release of the Trade Evolution mechanic on January 10, 2020. Shiny Joltik is available, as it debuted during GO Fest 2023: Global on August 26, 2023. Players are more excited to get the shiny variant because coming across it needs luck.

The Pokemon GO Joltik Spotlight Hour event takes place on November 26, 2024, from 6 to 7 pm local time. During its run, Jolkit will appear in higher numbers in the wild. You can easily get one for yourself. If you can farm more Candies, use them to evolve a Joltik into a Galvantula.

1) Catch in the wild

The encounter odds of Joltik are boosted during Rain weather in Pokemon GO. Therefore, visit places with this condition to find one. Events like Spotlight Hour can increase its appearance rate significantly, allowing trainers to encounter it in any weather. However, when this doesn’t happen, you should go to areas that experience rain.

Once you are there, try to locate a PokeStop to attach a Lure Module. This item can boost the wild spawn rate for 30 minutes. To stack the spawn boost effect, you can also use Incense.

2) Hatch Eggs

The event that introduced Shiny Joltik allowed trainers to hatch eggs to get Joltik and its rarer variant. Relying on this method at the moment is futile since no occasions in November 2024 let you add one to your collection. As such, you must wait for the future Pokemon GO events that will bring Joltik back via Eggs again.
