Pokemon GO Fashion Week 2025: Date, time, event bonuses, and more

Pokemon GO Fashion Week 2025 is raging on in the game, marking the debuts of more costumed Pokemon into the mix. Trainers can also pick up a paid Timed Research questline or complete event-themed Collection Challenges during the event.

We have gathered all the available information regarding the ongoing Pokemon GO event below.

Pokemon GO Fashion Week 2025 event overview

Date, time, and event bonuses

Fashion Week 2025 takes place from Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10 am local time to Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8 pm local time. The event bonuses are:

2× Stardust from catching Pokémon.
2× Chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Increased chance of encountering Shiny Kirlia wearing a fashionable costume in the wild.

During the event, trainers will also have an increased opportunity to come across these Shiny Pokemon through Field Research tasks and raids:

Butterfree wearing a fashionable costume
Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume
Minccino wearing a fashionable costume
Furfrou

Pokemon debuts

Minccino with a fashionable costume and Cinccino with a fashionable costume debut in Pokemon GO with Fashion Week 2025. Lucky trainers will get to encounter the former's shiny variant and then evolve to get the latter.

Wild encounters and raid bosses

The Fashion Week 2025 wild encounters with a boosted spawn rate are:

Diglett with a fashionable costume [shiny encounter available]
Skitty [shiny encounter available]
Buneary [shiny encounter available]
Blitzke with a fashionable costume [shiny encounter available]
Furfrou [shiny encounter available]

Field Research, Timed Research, and Collection Challenge

Event-themed Field Research tasks and Collection Challenge are available to Pokemon GO trainers during Fashion Week 2025. A paid Timed Research is also available for US$5.00. It provides the following rewards:

3,500 XP
3,500 Stardust
An event-themed avatar pose
Event-themed Pokémon encounters, including Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume, Minccino wearing a fashionable costume, and Furfrou
