Naomi is an American professional grappler and dancer. She commenced her wrestling career in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in June 2010. She later moved to NXT and debuted on the brand in September of that year. As her stint with NXT ended, she was promoted to the main roster and joined "The Funkadactyls” alongside Cameron as valets for Brodus Clay.

Naomi's first championship victory came at Elimination Chamber 2017, where she defeated Alexa Bliss to win the SmackDown Women's Championship, becoming the first African-American woman to hold the title. A knee injury forced her to relinquish the belt after just nine days, but she reclaimed it upon her return and held it for 140 days. The winner of the inaugural WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal (2018) has additionally captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice and the TNA Knockout World Championship once as of February 2025.

Elimination Chamber 2019

The 2019 Elimination Chamber saw Naomi debut in the chamber with her tag partner to compete for the inaugural Women's Tag Team Championship against The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce), Fire and Desire (Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville), The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan), Nia Jax & Tamina, and The Boss 'N' Hug Connection (Bayley & Sasha Banks).

The battle began with Naomi and Carmella facing off against Bayley and Sasha Banks, while the other four teams remained inside the inner chamber. As the action unfolded, each team was gradually released into the match from their respective pods. At the 17:10 mark, The IIconics pinned Naomi, eliminating her and Carmella as the first team without even doing an elimination of their own.

Elimination Chamber 2024

Naomi entered the Women's Elimination Chamber match for the second time in 2024 at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. The match determined who would challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania XL. Bianca Belair, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Liv Morgan waited in their pods, while Naomi and Becky Lynch initiated the match.

Stratton entered the match as the third participant, followed by Morgan as the fourth. While Naomi and Morgan were engaged in a struggle, Stratton seized the moment and pinned Naomi, removing her from the match. Naomi was eliminated after 13 minutes and 30 seconds without securing an elimination, similar to her first appearance in 2019.
