Victoria Gonzalez is an American Professional Wrestler currently signed to WWE under the ring name Raquel Rodriguez, where she wrestles under the Raw brand. She is a second generation professional wrestler, following her father Rick Gonzalez who wrestled under the name Desperado in World Wrestling Alliance.
Gonzalez was a Basketball player during her high school and college days, but was a huge fan of professional wrestling. In 2016, she started her professional wrestling career in WWE Performance Center and made her debut at the NXT live event under her real name. She changed her name to Reina Gonzalez and participated in the Mae Young Classic twice but was eliminated in the first round.
In 2020 at NXT Portland, She interfered during the match between Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai changing her name to Raquel Gonzalez and attacked Tegan Nox to form an alliance with Kai. Raquel and Kai worked as a team and entered the first ever Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and won. As a result, they got the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Women's Championship against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, which ended in a controversy. NXT General Manager William Regal then introduced the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship and crowned Raquel and Dakota as the champions.
After losing the championship, Raquel changed her focus to the NXT Women's Championship and won by defeating IYO Shorai. She held the championship for 202 days and lost the title to Mandy Rose. Raquel then had a brief run and entered the main roster in 2022 changing her name to Raquel Rodriguez. She had the SmackDown Women's Championship pursuit straight away but failed. She then entered the women's tag team division by aligning with Aliyah and won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship and became the first women to hold the NXT and WWE Tag Team Championship. They held the title for two weeks and lost their title to Damage CTRL. She then formed an ally with Liv Morgan and captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice.
