Denis (Denis Kopotun), Alex (Alexander Stephen "Alex" Orman), Sub (Elijah Peter Best), and Sketch (Dylan) made up the American, Canadian, and English YouTuber collective known as The Pals, which was active from 2012 to 2019. They mainly shared videos for Roblox and Minecraft.
Corl, the group's former fifth member, was expelled from the group in February 2019 as a result of a string of tweets he sent against a fan. The group originally consisted of five members. The group split up in June of that same year.

The Pals were originally known as "MayaTOOTS", but they later went by the names "SubZeroExtabyte" and then "The Pals". Sub created the channel on January 24, 2012. Sub and Sketch would upload Minecraft machinimas and animations to the channel at this time.
Later, the group was joined by Denis, Alex, and Corl. Sketch later left the group but then returned in September 2016. They created a series for FNAF Origins, a series for Minecraft Hotel, and a Roblox adaptation of FNAF Origins. When Sketch rejoined the group, they were only interested in watching Roblox videos. They also created the "PalsCraft" Minecraft series.
"Minecraft - 10+ Ways to Kill a Creeper in Style!" is the oldest video on The Pals channel. In the video, The Pals make a list of different ways to kill a creeper in Minecraft.
Early in 2019, Corl would draw criticism for harassing and insulting a fan, which led to the fan having suicidal thoughts. The other Pals made the decision to expel him as a result. On February 25, 2019, Denis declared that Corl was no longer a part of The Pals. It would then be a while before the group uploaded again.
Denis announced The Pals' dissolution in a group post on their YouTube channel on June 28, 2019. The group's four members eventually started their own YouTube careers.
Denis tweeted a screenshot of himself, Alex, Sketch, and Sub in the Minecraft Time SMP Server on June 28, 2021, which was the second anniversary of The Pals' breakup and was interpreted as a sign of the group's reunion.
The Pals briefly reunited on the July 1, 2021 episode of Minecraft Time SMP titled "The Pals REUNION! - Minecraft Time SMP: Episode 23 - GRAND SHEEP RACING". Denis later clarified that it didn't imply that The Pals were reuniting.
