Andrade is a Mexican Professional Wrestler currently signed with WWE under the ring name Andrade. His real name is Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza He is also known as La Sombra in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and as Andrade “Cien” Almas in WWE. He is a third generation professional wrestler from the Andrade Family. Andrade started his professional wrestling career in 2003 and started wrestling in his family's wrestling promotion in Mexico. He adopted the wrestling name Brillante Jr. as his father wrestled under the ring name Brillant.

He got signed in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in 2007 and had a eight year long tenure with the company. He wrestled as a masked wrestler under the name La Sombra and as Tecnico (Good Guy) for the first seven years. He is a collector of masks (Luchas de Apuestas), where the masks are defended on the line. La Sombra was highly succesfull im CMLL, where he won multiple championships including the CMLL Universal Championship once, CMLL World Championship once, CMLL World Trios Championship once, Mexican National Trios Championship once, NWA World Welterweight Championship once, NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship once and NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship twice. In 2015, he lost his mask and revealed his identity and left the promotion. In the final year with CMLL La Sombra became heel (rudo) and formed a stable Los Ingobernables with Rush.

After leaving CMLL, Andrade got signed to WWE under the ring name Andrade "Cien" Almas. He debuted in the NXT brand and won the NXT Championship. He continued his success on the main roster as a heel and became the United States Champion. In 2021, Andrade requested his release from WWE and appeared on Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and later joined AEW, changing his name to Andrade El Idolo. Where he continued his heel character and brought the Los Ingobernables stable with Rush. At Royal Rumble 2024, he returned to WWE and soon won the WWE Speed Championship.

He got married to fellow professional wrestler Charlotte Flair in 2022 at the age of 32, where he is 4 years younger than her. He re-joined WWE in 2024 at the age of 34.
