Professional Wrestling Career

Andrade began his wrestling journey in early life, entering the local lucha libre circuit alongside his family as Brillante Jr. His breakthrough arrived in 2007 at CMLL, where he rebranded as La Sombra and swiftly claimed the NWA World Welterweight Championship. Rapidly ascending, he gathered titles and engaged in memorable feuds, notably with Rush and La Máscara in the 'Los Ingobernables' faction. Transitioning to NJPW, he seized the prestigious IWGP Intercontinental Championship, enhancing his global standing. The momentum persisted in NXT, where he clinched the NXT Championship, leaving a lasting impact on the division before advancing to the main roster.

Andrade impressed audiences as he ascended to the main roster, delivering stellar performances and engaging storylines, eventually capturing the United States Championship. However, his WWE journey concluded in 2021, marking the beginning of a new chapter in AEW and AAA. Now known as Andrade El Idolo, he aligned himself with Vickie and Chavo Guerrero, initiating intense rivalries with Pac. In 2024, he made his return to WWE and soon won the WWE Speed Championship.
