It's a popular move in wrestling, and Okada has perfected it over the years.Variations of this move include combining it with a hammerlock, as seen with Ariya Daivari.

Money Clip (Cobra Clutch)

In addition to his finisher, Kazuchika Okada employs a submission move called the Money Clip, which he has been using since June 17, 2020. This submission involves Okada standing behind his opponent and using one arm to apply a half-nelson while using his free arm to pull the opponent's arm across their face. He then locks his hand to his wrist behind the opponent's neck, cutting off the carotid artery and forcing them to submit or lose consciousness. It's a formidable move that adds to Okada's arsenal in the ring.

Red Ink (Kneeling Cross-Legged STF)

Red Ink-Kneeling Cross-Legged S.T.F (Stepover Toehold Facelock) is another current submission used by Kazuchika Okada since March 11, 2013, until now to dominate his opponents in the ring. In this move, Okada targets his opponent's legs, bending them at the knees and crossing them, with one ankle nestled in the knee-pit of the other leg. Securing the free ankle between his thighs, Okada then positions himself atop his opponent's back, locking his arms around their face. With a powerful pull, he stretches the opponent's back, neck, and knees, applying intense pressure to force a submission or inflict significant pain. It's a strategic and effective maneuver that showcases Okada's mastery of submission techniques.
