Samoa Joe is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his work in WWE, TNA, ROH, and AEW, where he is currently signed. His real name is Nuufolau Joel Seanoa. He was born on March 17, 1979, in Orange County, California, USA.

His parents had founded Tiare Productions, which was a Polynesian Dance Trope. Joe performed in the Productions as a child. At five, Joe performed at the opening ceremony of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Before wrestling, Joe had been involved in judo, football, and even mortgage brokerage.

Joe finally found his love in professional wrestling and made his debut in 1999 at the United Independent Wrestling Alliance. He rose to prominence in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2002 to 2007, holding the ROH World Championship for a record-setting 645 days. During this time, Joe engaged in legendary feuds with the likes of CM Punk and Christopher Daniels.

In 2005, Joe joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he embarked on an impressive undefeated streak that lasted almost two years. Joe captured the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, becoming the first wrestler to hold both the multiple titles in TNA. His rivalry with Kurt Angle during this era is considered one of the best in TNA history.

Joe arrived in WWE in 2015, quickly establishing himself as a force in NXT, capturing the NXT Championship thrice overall. Despite captivating performances on the main roster against top stars like Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, world titles eluded him. He won the WWE United States Championship twice on the main roster.

In 2022, Joe made a triumphant return to his roots, signing with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion, Ring of Honor. He quickly captured the AEW TNT Championship twice and secured his most significant achievement to date: the AEW World Championship in December 2023.

What is Samoa Joe's Theme Song in AEW?

Samoa Joe uses the “Coliseum Clash” in All Elit Wrestling as his theme song.

Released in 2022, "Coliseum Clash" serves as Samoa Joe's entrance theme for his return to Ring of Honor and his debut in All Elite Wrestling. Composed by Mikey Rukus, the track perfectly captures Joe's intimidating presence and unwavering determination.

While "Coliseum Clash" marks the current chapter of Samoa Joe's career, his time in WWE was accompanied by a different theme song that solidified his image as a relentless "Destroyer." The theme song “Destroyer” was composed by the legendary CFO$.
