Swerve Strickland (birth name: Stephon Strickland), the professional rapper and grappler is currently leading the Mogul Embassy in the All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

The current AEW World Titleholder began performing in 2008 and worked for different free circuits for almost 10 years as Shane Strickland. Strickland worked for Evolve, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), and Major League Wrestling (MLW). The 33-year-old brought home a few significant championships, for example, the Evolve Title (1 time), CZW Wired TV Title (2 times), CZW World Heavyweight Title (1 time), wXw World Tag Team Title (1 time), MLW World Heavyweight Title (1 time), etc.


The former AEW World Tag Team Titleholder filled in as a grappler with a mask named Killshot in Lucha Underground from 2014 to 2018. He brought home the Lucha Underground Trios Championship (twice) in that promotion. The former NXT North American Titleholder worked for WWE from 2019 to 2021 as Isaiah "Swerve" Scott and was an individual from the 'Hit Row'. He was let out of the advancement in the wake of making his debut on SmackDown's main roster. Swerve Strickland got the 82nd spot in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI)'s 500 list in 2022 and also got the 8th spot in the list of Sports Illustrated the following year.

The names of Swerve Strickland's father and mother are not available in the public domain. Strickland's father functioned as a sergeant-first-class cook in the US Armed Forces. Strickland's family moved to Germany when Strickland was just two months old for his father's profession and lived on Frankfurt's American army base for a considerable length of time. Strickland graduated secondary school when he was 17 and followed his father by joining the US Army.
