The Baltimore Orioles are a professional baseball organization based in Baltimore, Maryland. The organization competes in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member of the American League (AL) East Division. Established in 1901 as the Milwaukee Brewers, the franchise moved to St. Louis in 1902 as the St. Louis Browns before relocating to Baltimore in 1954 and adopting the Orioles name.
