Freddie Freeman, is a baseball player for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has been with the Dodgers since 2022. Born on September 12, 1989, in Fountain Valley, California, Freeman's parents hail from Ontario, Canada. In his senior year at El Modena High School, he was named the Player of the Year by The Orange County Register in 2007. He was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the second round (78th overall) of the MLB draft in 2007.

Freeman made his MLB debut for the Braves on September 1, 2010. He played for the Braves from 2010 to 2021. In 2022, he signed a six-year, $162 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is a nine-time All-Star and was awarded the NL Hank Aaron Award in 2020. In 2021, he won his first World Series championship with the Atlanta Braves and received the Babe Ruth Award the same year. In 2024, he won his second World Series.
