On Monday, MLB released their list of candidates for the 2024 Silver Slugger Awards. Bestowed on the players who did the most damage with their bats during the regular season, the field of candidates features a whos-who of baseball's elite.
Presented each season since 1980, the Award goes to the players who have exemplified the top offensive poise. The honor is given to ten players in each league - one for each position plus a utility name. The winners will be voted on by the Baseball Writer's Association of America, and announced November 12.
