Call of Duty League or CDL has unveiled a new map pool for the upcoming Major 3 tournament. The announcement was made on April 9, 2024, on the league's official X account. The CDL is the game's premier competitive tournament, with 12 teams competing for points in each Major to qualify for the CDL Championship at the end of the year.
Fans have already witnessed two Majors in 2024, with Toronto Ultra and Atlanta FaZe claiming the top prizes in Majors 1 and 2, respectively. This article highlights the updated map pool of the tournament.
Call of Duty League (CDL) announces new map pool for Major 3 2024
Major 3 is fast approaching, and the Call of Duty League has decided to shake things up in CoD's most competitive tournament. On April 9, 2024, the league announced on its official X account that it has made several changes to the map pool heading to the tournament this week.
For Hardpoint mode, CDL confirmed that long-time tournament maps Invasion and Skidrow will be removed from the rotation. To replace these maps, both Vista (from MW3 Season 2) and 6 Star (from MW3 Season 3) will be introduced in the tournament.
The Search and Destroy mode also received some changes in the map pool, with Terminal being removed and replaced by 6 Star. Meanwhile, the Control mode will feature the same map playlist from the previous Major.
