The upcoming Vortex Vi.Rus Mainframe event in Call of Duty: Warzone and MW3 is right around the corner, offering players the chance to earn exciting new free rewards. With the event's launch, preternatural map variants—Airborne, Satan’s Quarry, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, and Tetanus—will return for a limited-time playlist. Additionally, the Vortex Mosh Pit will be available, along with a new Arcade mode.

As of writing, the Warzone and MW3 in-game Event section indicates that the Vortex Vi.Rus Mainframe event will commence in two days, starting on April 24, 2024, at 9 am PT. On the same day, Warzone: High Trip event will come to an end.

While there's no official end date for the event, Season 3 Reloaded is set to launch on May 1, 2024. Given this timing, it's highly unlikely that the event will conclude after just a week. It's possible that the event will continue even after the mid-season update is released.

Warzone and MW3 Vortex Vi.Rus Mainframe event expected rewards

Currently, there is no official information on available rewards, but to earn them, you'll need to collect experience points and reach certain XP milestones. Additionally, equipping the Bacillus Ghost Skin from the Tracer Pack Horsemen Vi.Rus Ultra Skin bundle will grant additional XP per match.

Reputable sources indicate that the final reward will be an animated camo called Binary Morality. Other potential rewards include Calling Cards, Weapon Stickers, Weapon Charms, Double XP tokens, and more.
