Great news for Warzone Mobile players, an exciting new mode called Zombie Royale will soon be available. This mode is not new and is familiar to those who played the original Warzone or Warzone 2 either on PC or console, where it was a popular limited-time mode. In this mode, players alternate between human and zombie roles, making the title more engaging.

When does Zombie Royale release in Warzone Mobile: Date and time across all regions

The Zombie Royale mode will be released once the Season 4 Reloaded update goes live, scheduled for June 26, 2024, at 9 am PT.

How to play Zombie Royale in Warzone Mobile

Zombie Royale remained the same in both Warzone and Warzone 2, suggesting that Warzone Mobile will likely follow the same path. However, the number of supported players differed; in the original Warzone, the Verdansk map allowed up to 150 players in Zombie Royale, whereas Warzone 2 supported 72. That said, Warzone Mobile may support 120 players, maintaining the same number as its standard BR.

As for the rules, the mode will take place in Verdansk during the nighttime. Players start as humans but upon elimination, instead of going to the Gulag, they transform into zombies. As a zombie, their sole objective is to attack human players. Zombies possess special abilities like Charged Jump, Gas Grenade, and Fury, though these abilities may vary in Warzone Mobile.

Furthermore, when humans are eliminated, they drop Antiviral syringes. If a zombie collects two syringes, they can reincarnate as a human and aid their squad in securing victory. The squad that eliminates all living squads as well as all the zombies will be the winners of the match.

Do keep in mind that these rules are from the previous Zombie Royale available for PC and console, so there may be some changes when this mode becomes available in this mobile version. While there won't be any significant alterations, minor adjustments may be implemented.
