The following year, he saw 11 games in action and started three of them. He also grabbed the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week in November that year. As a junior, he attended all 15 games and started one. During his senior year in 2024, he played in 12 games and started 10 of them. He was honored with All-Big Ten and shared Offensive Player of the Week.

At Michigan, Edwards won the Big Ten Griffin-Grange Championship Game MVP in 2022. The four-time letter winner has played in 50 games overall at Michigan and started 13 games at running back while one as a wide receiver.
