IPL 2016 Playoffs Tickets: Book Tickets for IPL 9 Qualifiers

IPL 2016 is here. The cricketing extravaganza began on 9 April 2016. The final is on 29 May 2016. The tournament so far has been exhilarating. We are in the back end of this cricketing festival. The top-four make it to the all-important playoffs. The Sunrisers Hyderabad have just confirmed their spot in the playoffs with a wonderful win against Kings XI Punjab on 15 May 2016. Now, we have to wait and watch if SRH keeps the momentum and goes on to finish in the top two position in the table.

Rising Pune Supergiants are having a forgetful tournament this year. RPS will not make the playoffs. After that loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab is out of the race as well. Another disappointing season for KXIP.

Gujarat Lions is almost through to the playoffs. They hit a roadblock against Royal Challengers Bangalore but should seal their spot in the forthcoming matches. Kolkata Knight Riders is in a strong position too. KKR also need only one win to confirm the spot in the playoffs. It will be a bolt from the blue if these two teams fail to make it to the playoffs. These two teams will look to top the table, though. Remember, top-two teams have two bites at the cherry.

This scenario makes the final playoff spot interesting. Delhi Daredevils is playing good cricket in IPL 2016 and will want to secure the final playoff spot. This will be a huge boost for DD finished in the bottom half of the table in the previous three tournaments.

Do not count out Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians has been inconsistent this year but found some form in the business end of the tournament. MI has fourteen points. However, Delhi Daredevils has played fewer matches than Mumbai Indians. It is going to a tight one between these two teams.

Royal Challengers Bangalore has played eleven games and has ten points. After that emphatic win against Gujarat Lions, rejuvenated RCB will also look to grab that last playoff spot. That is not an easy task, though. If RCB makes it, it will be a perfect fairy-tale ending to their campaign.
