Chris Lynn earned the reputation of the explosive strikers of the ball in the IPL. He was a part of KKR since 2014, where he won the man of the match award in his very first outing scoring 45 runs in 31 balls against RCB. He couldn't play regularly in 2014 and 2016 due to his shoulder injury.

Lynn's breakout season was in 2017 when he scored 295 runs in just seven innings at a colossal strike rate of 180.98. He has enjoyed a blistering opening pair with Sunil Narine since then. He missed most of KKR's campaign in 2017 but became the mainstay at the top order.

Scoring more than 400 runs in 2018 and 2019, Chris Lynn witnessed a dip in his form but still contributed heavily in winning matches for KKR. He has a career strike rate of 140.65 at an average of 33.63. Lynn's release from KKR this year was a surprise among fans despite having such decent numbers.

His hard-hitting ability in the powerplays makes him a dangerous batsman as many franchises would look to bid for this Australian-batsman. It seems that Chris Lynn could emerge as one of the costliest buys of IPL 2020 auction.
