Suryakumar Yadav was undoubtedly the best uncapped player on show in IPL 2020, and although he was only his team's third-highest run-getter, the impact that he had on the tournament was unmatched. The No. 3 played a number of match-winning innings, with the best knock coming against Virat Kohli's RCB mere days after a national selection snub. He scored 480 runs in 16 innings at an average of 40.00 and a strike rate of 145.01, and looked assured against both spin and pace.

Shreyas Iyer led his team to their first-ever IPL final, and he had a decent individual season as well. The DC skipper scored 519 runs in 17 innings to finish 4th on the IPL 2020 Orange Cap list, and played the anchor role to perfection after coming in at No. 3 and No. 4. The 25-year-old was the youngest captain in IPL 2020 and demonstrated admirable leadership as well as confidence, and is deservedly the skipper of this XI.

Ishan Kishan missed the first two games of IPL 2020, but announced himself on the world stage with 516 runs in just 14 innings at an average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 145.76. The explosive southpaw hit the most sixes in the tournament, and finished 5th on the IPL 2020 Orange Cap list. He made a serious case to be called up to the Indian team, and we might see him don a different shade of blue in the near future.

Marcus Stoinis was one of the few all-rounders who was able to make his mark on IPL 2020, and was an underrated contributor in the DC squad. The Aussie batted in a number of positions and finished with 352 runs in 17 innings at a superb strike rate of 148.52. He put in a few Man of the Match performances (including in Qualifier 2), and picked up 13 wickets as well. Had he opened the innings right from the start, Stoinis could've done even better.
