The right arm bowler with one of the most unique actions in International cricket has made the IPL his own, with as many as 143 wickets in total from 98 matches. Since starting in 2009, he has been very consistent with both the old and new ball, mixing his regular deliveries with yorkers and slower bouncers. He started off with 18 wickets from 13 matches, and has followed an upward trend thereafter. Injuries slowed him down but never stopped him, as he took more than 20 wickets in as many as four seasons.

He took Mumbai to within reach of the title in 2010, and was the highest wicket taker (Purple Cap holder) in 2011. He couldn’t play this year due to a knee injury.
