In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Australia holds the record for the longest winning streak, with 21 consecutive wins in 2003. South Africa (17 wins) and Sri Lanka (13 wins) follow closely. While in T20 Internationals, Spain leads the charts with 15 consecutive wins from February 2023 to August 2024.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) reportedly hold the record for the longest winning streak, with 10 consecutive wins spanning the 2014 and 2015 seasons. KKR's incredible run began in 2014 when they won seven straight matches to finish second in the league stage. They continued their dominance by winning the Qualifier and then the final against Kings XI Punjab, securing their second IPL title. The streak extended into the 2015 season with three more consecutive wins, setting the record for the most consecutive victories in IPL history, as of March 2025.

As per reports, Kolkata Knight Riders hold the record for the most consecutive wins in IPL history with 10 victories across the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Kings XI Punjab follows with eight consecutive wins in 2013-14. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings both had seven-match winning streaks in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Several teams have achieved six consecutive wins, including Kolkata Knight Riders (2012), Mumbai Indians (2008), Rajasthan Royals (2008), and Chennai Super Kings (2014).
