Unarguably Chris Gayle is a match-winner. Once the big West Indian gets going there is simply no stopping him. And he has certainly turned the game on its head many times. Another superstar of modern-day cricket, AB de Villiers is first in the list with a total of 25 Man of the Match awards to his name.

David Warner too has fired some fireworks in the Indian Premier League which has earned him fourth place in the list of highest man of the match in IPL with 18 awards. Not surprisingly, Rohit Sharma with 18 MoM awards and Mahendra Singh Dhoni with 17 MoM awards also have his name up there in the list.

Some call him the first star of IPL, and deservingly so because Yusuf Pathan has won 16 MoM awards in IPL over the years. Shane Watson has won 16 MoM awards thanks to his exceptional all-around talent. CSK’s Suresh Raina has 14 awards to his name.
