The Mumbai Indians Women scripted history in the Women's Premier League in 2025, as the Harmanpreet Kaur-led unit became the first team to win the title twice. They defeated the Delhi Capitals Women in the title clash to etch their name in history.

The franchise relied on their star performers such as Nat-Sciver Brunt, Amelia Kerr, Harmanpreet Kaur and Shabnim Ismail to bring the championship home for the second time in three years of WPL's existence. Mumbai Indians women's team finished at the second spot in the points table, winning five matches and losing three. They defeated the Gujarat Giants Women in the Eliminator by 47 runs to book their spot in the final, where they defeated the Meg Lanning-led unit by eight runs. England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt proved to be the most valuable player for the Mumbai-based franchise. According to WPLT20's official website, she scored 523 runs in 10 innings at 65.37/152.47 and took 12 wickets at 22.5/7.94.
