The Rajasthan Royals were the visitors for Chennai Super Kings on April 3rd, 2010 in the 32nd match of the season. Batting first after winning the toss, CSK got off to a blazing start with Murali Vijay and Matthew Hayden adding 62 runs for the first wicket.

Vijay went on to achieve a superb 127 off only 56 balls including 8 fours and 11 sixes. Albie Morkel’s quickfire 62 took them to a colossal score of 246 runs at the end of 20 overs.

The Royals replied back strongly with the openers Michael Lumb and Naman Ojha putting up a stand of 69 runs. Ojha carried on to make an unbeaten 94 off 55 balls who was ably supported by Shane Watson who scored 60 off 25. The scoreboard pressure then got to them and they managed 223 runs and fell short by 23 runs.
