Personality of Lucky

Lucky has a Lazy behavior type, meaning that you won’t find him up and about early in the morning like with normal or athletic villagers. While a bit lazy, that won’t stop Lucky from becoming fast friends with you. Friendly and chatty, Lucky will get along with normal, peppy, smug, sisterly, and other lazy villagers. However, he may come into conflict with snooty and jock villagers.

Appearance of Lucky

Lucky is one of the more unique-looking villagers you’ll encounter, as most of his body is covered in bandages, so we don’t really know what he looks like. Outside of a black tail, ears, and part of his face, almost everything else is covered in white bandages wrapped across his body. The only color to break up the black and white color palette is one visible yellow eye.

How to get Lucky in New Horizons

Getting a villager you want in New Horizons is particularly tricky, as there is only one surefire way to do so, the rest is up to luck. There are two primary methods of getting Lucky in your village, the first is using Nook Miles to fly to an island and see if he is there. Keep in mind if you do this you’ll have to have an open plot available. The next is to wait and see if he’ll appear at your campsite. Either way, both methods are luck-based, so it’s completely up to chance.

Role of Lucky in New Leaf

Lucky is a villager again in New Leaf, appearing randomly by chance with the opportunity to invite him to stay in your town.

Role of Lucky in Wild World

Much like in previous entries, Lucky is a villager that you can encounter and have invited to your village.

Amiibo Card

A guaranteed way to get Lucky on your island is to use his Amiibo card. Simply scan it with your Switch on the Town Hall. Keep in mind in order to do this you need to have both the Town Hall and Campsite constructed. Once you’ve invited him to your campsite, you simply need to do this three times and he’ll be part of your island!

Trivia

Lucky’s name seems to be a play on the fact that he gets constantly injured.

Despite the number of bandages on him, Lucky appears to have black fur.
