Lance Stroll is a Canadian Formula 1 racing driver. As of the 2025 F1 season, he is driving for the Aston Martin Formula 1 team alongside his teammate, Fernando Alonso. He was born on October 29, 1998, in Montreal. Stroll is the youngest son of billionaire businessman father Lawrence Stroll and mother Claire-Anne Callens. The Canadian driver started his racing career at the age of 10. Later on, in 2008, he tasted his first victory at the karting championship in native America.
His open-seater racing debut came in 2014 with the Florida Winter Series. That same year, he dominated the Italian F4 Championship and crowned himself as the F4 World Championship title with the Prema Powertrain racing team. Then he got the Formula 3 European championship title in 2016. His first F1 debut was in 2017 with Williams Racing and he entitled himself, the first Canadian F1 driver since 1997 F1 champion winner Jacques Villeneuve.
