Pierre Gasly is a racing driver who competes in Formula One for Alpine. He started karting at six and moved up through the junior levels. In 2013, he won the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championship. His strong performances got him a place in the Red Bull Junior Team, which led to his Formula One debut with Toro Rosso at the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix. Gasly was promoted to race for Red Bull Racing in 2019 but had problems that made him return to Toro Rosso within the season.
