Pierre Jean-Jacques Gasly is a French racing driver born on February 7, 1996, in Rouen, France. He is the youngest of five brothers and comes from a family with a background in motorsports, as reported by Formula 1’s official website. According to BBC, Pierre is a French national residing in Milan, Italy, as of February 2025.

Pierre Gasly races in the no.10 car has competed in 154 Formula 1 races (153 starts) since his debut in 2017. He has raced for Toro Rosso, Red Bull Racing, AlphaTauri, and currently, Alpine. Though he has not won a championship, he secured his first and only Grand Prix victory at the 2020 Italian Grand Prix. Over his career, he has achieved five podium finishes, scored 436 career points, and recorded three fastest laps, according to Formula 1’s official website.

Pierre Gasly's Contract

According to Alpine's official website, Pierre Gasly joined the team for the 2023 season, partnering with Esteban Ocon. According to Formula 1’s official website, he further committed to the team by agreeing to a multi-year extension in 2025, ensuring his place with Alpine for the future. He is set to partner with Jack Doohan at Alpine as part of the team’s line-up for the upcoming 2025 F1 season.

Pierre Gasly's Salary

According to Spotrac, Pierre Gasly's initial salary at Toro Rosso was $400,000 in 2018. The following season, his salary rose to a staggering $1.4 million when he joined Red Bull Racing. Even after his demotion to the junior team AlphaTauri in 2020, his salary rose to $2.4 million. Due to his consistent performances, Gasly kept earning $5 million annually during the 2021 and 2022 seasons respectively. After his shift to Alpine Racing in 2023, Gasly earned a whopping $8 million. However, he reportedly earned $6 million during the 2024 season.
