Speaking of the leading run-scorer in World Cup, the batsman with the most runs in a single edition of the T20 World Cup is India’s Virat Kohli who amassed 319 runs in the 2014 ICC T20 World Cup. Kohli will be one of the contenders for the most runs in T20 World Cup 2021, along with the likes of David Warner and Rohit Sharma.
Tamim Iqbal was the leading run-scorer in ICC T20 World Cup 2016. He scored 295 runs in six matches in ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
