Indian T20 League 2025 Most Five Wickets
A five-wicket haul is the most important achievement in a bowler's career, showing his ability to take wickets at regular intervals. Jasprit Bumrah, James Faulkner, Jaydev Unadkat, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar all have two five-wicket hauls each in the Indian Premier League (IPL), as of May 1, 2025. Bumrah's first five-wicket haul came against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2022 at DY Patil Stadium on May 9. His second five-for came in the IPL 2024 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Unadkat's first five-wicket haul came against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Delhi on May 10, 2013. Kumar's first five-wicket haul came against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Hyderabad on April 17, 2017. He also holds the record of most dot balls (1757) in the IPL, as of May 2, 2025. Faulkner's first five-wicket haul came against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on April 27, 2013.
