Who is Regis Prograis' trainer?
Jack Catterall v Regis Prograis - Public Workout

Former WBC light welterweight champion Regis Prograis has had a phenomenal career that started in 2012. With over a decade of expertise in the sport, Prograis maintains a record of 29 wins and only two losses. Most of his wins are via knockout (24), and the rest via decision (five). Moreover, the only boxers Prograis has ever lost to are only Josh Taylor and Devin Haney, via a majority and unanimous decision, respectively.

Regis Prograis faced Devin Haney to defend his WBC championship in his last outing on December 9, 2023. A dominant Haney had the judges in his favor unanimously after the 12-rounder. However, Prograis is looking forward to bouncing back from his title loss through his next fight on Saturday, October 26, 2024, against Jack Catterall in Manchester, England.

Regis Prograis' trainer

Regis Prograis trains under Bobby Benton, Evins Tobler, and Julian Chua.

Bobby Benton, head coach of Prograis' fight camps, helps him in planning how to deal with an opponent to use the right technique for execution.

Before his fight against Devin Haney, Regis Prograis also had Julian Chua in his camp as a co-trainer along with Bobby Benton.

Evins Tobler is Regis Prograis' strength and conditioning coach. He is the man responsible for Prograis' explosive power and stamina.

Bobby Benton

Regis Prograis has been training under Bobby Benton since his early career. Benton started training boxers at 18 and is based in Houston, Texas, USA.

Ahead of Prograis' fight against Jack Catterall in October 2024, Bobby Benton seems confident about his disciple's current form and technique. While talking to Boxingscene.com, Benton mentioned that fighting in Manchester(away from Prograis' home) will be more of an advantage for him than a disadvantage.
