There are only a few months left until the 2023 NFL draft. Anthony Richardson is the ideal quarterback, with the kind of promise that may turn him into an NFL superstar.

This year's NFL Draft will be the ultimate quarterback draft, as three quarterbacks are likely to be selected among the top ten picks, perhaps in the top 5. Richardson is anticipated to be selected among the first few choices, even if the likes of C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Hendon Hooker are selected before him.

Regarding arm strength and movement, Anthony Richardson stands out among his peers. He is a phenomenal talent at quarterback, and if everything works out, many NFL teams could deem landing him in the top 15 a steal.

Many have noted that Richardson is still extremely inexperienced because he has yet to gain enough starting experience. In 2022, he threw for 2,549 yards, 17 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and a 53.8% completion rate.

Richardson is the quarterback to select if a team wants to draft someone who could emerge as the next Jalen Hurts-type superstar. While the Gators lost each game against LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and FSU, Richardson's arm and legs were vital in turnaround attempts that allowed Florida to seize command of the game.

The Detroit Lions, New York Giants, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington Commanders are just a few of the teams that have been seen in the Gators' games this season after being perceived as quarterback-needy heading into the offseason.

What qualities will Anthony Richardson bring to the NFL?

It is commonly known that Richardson, a one-year starting QB for Florida and a potential pick in the 2022 draft, suffered consistency issues. Still, he frequently produced explosive moments that would excite scouts.

Anthony Richardson has proven to be able to pass from various arm angles, connecting with receivers to prolong plays that could have lost yards to less elegant quarterbacks. Richardson can accelerate his throws to fit the ball through defenses in small, confined spaces. Richardson can easily advance the ball more than 50 yards downfield with just a wrist twist.

He'll likely run one of the quarterbacks' fastest 40-yard times in NFL Combine history.

Richardson is exceptional on the ground, in addition to his strong arm. He possesses excellent agility to avoid pressure in the pocket. Still, he is even more explosive with the ball in his hands.
