Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season commences with the reigning Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers flying to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles.

The game will be a battle between two quarterbacks on opposite ends of the spectrum in style and experience. Jalen Hurts, the Eagles' young, mobile quarterback will take on Tom Brady, the Buccaneers' steady, pocket passer who's the oldest quarterback ever to start a game.

Both teams are coming off wins in their previous games. The Buccaneers are hoping to extend their lead at the top of the NFC South, while the Eagles are hoping to get back to .500 after a poor start to the season.

Check out the injury report and the starting lineup for Thursday's game.

The Buccaneers will be missing some important players for Thursday's game against the Eagles. Star tight end Rob Gronkowski will miss his third straight game as he deals with internal injuries he sustained following a colossal hit during Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is still in concussion protocol and while he's almost back to full health, a return on Thursday is a bit early.

Linebacker Lavonte David will miss the contest and this could swing the game in favor of the Eagles. The Buccaneers need every player they can to defend the pass, as they're vulnerable due to the injuries they have sustained in their secondary over the first few weeks of the season.

Most Eagles players are healthy and should be available for Thursday's game against the reigning champions. There are only two confirmed absentees.

Tight end Dallas Goedert was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Monday. He's vaccinated, so he had to test negative twice over 24 hours to be able to play. The Eagles have ruled him out.
