Fantasy football managers have a choice to make when it comes to starting a wide receiver for their Week 11 teams and Calvin Ridley and D. J. Moore are two options that they might consider.

Calvin Ridley and the Tennessee Titans have had a wretched season so far and are currently 2-7. The only reason they are not at the bottom of the AFC South is because the Jacksonville Jaguars have outdone them in incompetence.

They lost again in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers and now have a tough outing against the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota is 7-2 and fighting at the other end of the table in the NFC.

D. J. Moore and the Chicago Bears are not doing any better either. They have more wins than Tennessee, but they have looked like the worst team in the NFL for the last few weeks. They have lost three straight games and have accumulated a grand total of 12 points in the last two weeks.

That led to offensive coordinator Shane Waldron losing his job before facing their arch-rivals in Week 11. The Green Bay Packers are 6-3 and coming off a bye week.

Is Calvin Ridley a good pick in Week 11?

Calvin Ridley has struggled this season but there are reasons to believe that his form might be getting better. Towards the end of September and rolling into October, he had a stretch of three games with two receptions and 14 yards.

However, in his last three games, he has accumulated at least 70 yards per match and his average has always been more than 14 yards per catch. He scored two touchdowns in the win against the Chargers last week.

Overall, he has 483 yards in just 32 receptions at 15.1 yards per catch. Getting into the endzone has been a struggle with just three touchdowns in 2024 but given that two of them came last week, that could be about to chance. Fantasy football owners have an intriguing prospect in Calvin Ridley.

Is D. J. Moore a good pick in Week 11?

D. J. Moore has struggled as well as the Bears offense has spluttered throughout the year. He does not have a single game with double-digit receptions. Getting the ball has been a problem for him. With just 40 receptions in 2024, he has recorded 398 yards at an average of just below 10 yards per catch.

He has not scored a touchdown since getting into the endzone twice against the Panthers in a game where he recorded 105 yards. That increasingly looks like an aberration. However, with a change in the coaching staff and their opponents having a worse record than the Vikings, whom the Titans are facing, D. J. Moore might be a better starter than Calvin Ridley for Week 11.

Whom should I start between Calvin Ridley and D. J. Moore in Week 11?

Since it is not immediately clear who should start in this matchup, we took help from Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer tool to make a decision. The results are shown below.

Based on the above, fantasy football managers should favor Calvin Ridley over D. J. Moore in Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season. The Titans receiver has more overall yards and is in better form coming into this game. That is reflected in the probability that he will probably outgain his Bears counterpart in receiving yards and why he is likely to have a higher chance of scoring a touchdown.
