The Dallas Cowboys were under intense scrutiny going into their wild-card matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the team took the field and breezed through to a double-digit romp, passing the test with aplomb.

The outfit are a stride below a few absolute favorites in Super Bowl projections but appeared like a candidate in the dominating victory against the Bucs. The Cowboys will resume play this weekend when they travel to face the San Francisco 49ers in another postseason game.

Dak Prescott guided them to a 31-14 victory in Tampa by throwing for 305 yards and four touchdowns.

In what might have been Brady's last appearance with the Bucs, Dallas defeated Brady for just the first time ever after seven defeats. This was the first time since 2018 and just the second time in Prescott's career that they prevailed in a postseason game.

They appear to be a group that may make it to the Super Bowl, given their performance. Still, before they can start dreaming, they must win their upcoming game against the 49ers.

Do the Cowboys have what it takes to take it the distance?

The Dallas Cowboys have their highest Super Bowl probability in as many years this season, thanks to their top-five offense and top-five defense. Their offensive unit, led by Dak Prescott, has Ezekiel Elliott, CeeDee Lamb, and Tony Pollard, who can compete with any team.

Micah Parsons is a game-breaker on defense who won't let any passers sit motionless in the pocket. Dallas have a solid all-around squad that seems ready to advance far into the playoffs.

When was the last time the Dallas Cowboys played in the Super Bowl?

The team is without question among the most illustrious franchises in the entire NFL. This season, they have yet again provided their supporters with reason to be optimistic that they can participate in the Super Bowl.

The franchise have made it to the Super Bowl multiple times and have won more than 50% of their Super Bowl appearances. The outfit has claimed the Super Bowl five times in their eight outings.

Dallas' most recent Super Bowl appearance occurred during the 1995–96 season.

The New England Patriots, with 11 Super Bowl outings, are the only team ahead of the Texas franchise. Dallas are level with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos for the second-most Super Bowl cameos.
