DeAndre Hopkins is rumored to be on the trade block as the Arizona Cardinals look to rebuild their roster during the 2023 NFL offseason.
While the superstar wide receiver may be a bit past his prime at this point, he's still a highly productive offensive weapon. In 19 games played over the last two years, he has recorded an impressive 106 receptions for 1,289 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Cardinals have released DeAndre Hopkins
The Arizona Cardinals have decided to release DeAndre Hopkins after they were unable to find trade partners. This came as a shock to many as Hopkins was a target for multiple teams.
Now that he is a free agent, it is expected that Hopkins will be able to find a new home soon. Multiple teams are likely to be in consideration for the star receiver.
DeAndre Hopkins landing spots: #1 - New England Patriots
The New England Patriots entered the 2023 NFL offseason in need of an upgrade to their wide receivers. They were one of the weakest groups in the entire league during the 2022 NFL season and took another hi during the free agency period. Their top option, Jakobi Meyers, recently signed a new contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Losing Meyers makes one of the Patriots' biggest weaknesses even weaker. They could potentially transform it into a strength by adding Hopkins, one of the most consistently productive wide receivers in the NFL. He will also help develop Mac Jones, who struggled in his second year as a starting quarterback.
#2 - Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers made a bold move ahead of the 2023 NFL draft, trading with the Chicago Bears to acquire the first overall pick. They will use the pick on their future franchise quarterback in all likelihood. The only catch was that they had to give up their best wide receiver, D.J. Moore, in order to make the trade happen.
DeAndre Hopkins could potentially serve as an instant replacement for the Panthers offense in the 2023 NFL season. Adding the veteran receiver would also be a major help for whichever rookie quarterback is coming to Carolina.
