Few teams across the NFL will look more different from 2023 than the Chicago Bears in both real life and fantasy football realms.

After ending the 2023 season with a disappointing 7-10 record and finished in last place in the NFC North, the Bears fired OC Luke Getsy and moved on from QB Justin Fields.

Fields was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 2025 sixth-round draft selection after winning just 10 of his 38 starts in Chicago. He set career-highs last season in completion percentage (61.4%), passing yards (2,562), and threw a career-low nine interceptions but it wasn't enough to convince GM Ryan Poles that he is the man to take the franchise forward.

Fields' departure leaves the question as to who will be in charge of that role and which fantasy football assets can we rely on from the Chicago Bears in 2024.

Bears' best fantasy assets in 2024

#5 - Rome Odunze, WR

The Bears used their second first-round pick of the 2024 NFL Draft to select WR Rome Odunze out of Washington to catch passes from fellow rookie Caleb Williams.

Odunze amassed over 3,000 yards and 25 total touchdowns in college but faces stiff competition in his NFL team. He will likely begin 2024 as WR3 behind Keenan Allen and D.J. Moore which will limit his fantasy potential out of the gate.

However, as the season develops and Williams builds rapport with his new wideouts, don't count Odunze out as a late-round fantasy football league winner.

#4 - Caleb Williams, QB

With all of the weapons now in Chicago, rookie QB Caleb Williams could end 2024 as a top-5 fantasy football quarterback.

The first overall pick from this year's draft, Williams passed for 9,782 yards and 93 touchdowns versus just 14 interceptions in college for both Oklahoma and USC.

Now with the likes of Odunze, D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet, and D'Andre Swift as a supporting cast, Williams has the tools to succeed at the NFL level and can be picked up in the late rounds of drafts with his 101 overall ADP.

#3 - D'Andre Swift, RB

Joining his third team in three years, expect D'Andre Swift to lead the Chicago Bears' backfield in 2024 after signing a three-year, $24 million contract this offseason.

In PPR formats last year, Swift ended as RB20 after amassing 1,263 total yards and six touchdowns as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. From the 49 qualified running backs in 2023, Swift was 40th in yards after contact per attempt and 30th in missed tackles forced per attempt, so he should be seen as a RB2 at best.

#2 - Keenan Allen, WR

Another new addition to the Bears' offense in 2024 is former LA Chargers WR Keenan Allen. Allen was WR8 in PPR scoring last year after another excellent season of production alongside Justin Herbert as he earned a 31% target share.

He now joins a new team with a new signal-caller though, as well as stiffer competition for targets than he had in Los Angeles.

It remains to be seen how he will work in the offense, but the willingness from the Bears to acquire him — giving up a fourth-round pick — might be an indication of the importance of the role Allen will play.

#1 - D.J. Moore, WR

There's a strong possibility D.J. Moore will once again be the best fantasy football asset on the Chicago Bears in 2024. Moore was fantastic in 2023, as he racked up career-highs in receptions (96), yards (1,364), and touchdowns (8). He ended the year as WR6 in PPR scoring.

When Moore and former QB Justin Fields played together, he averaged 16.8 fantasy points per game, as well as a 29% target share over the course of the entire year.

Now entering his second year in Chicago, Moore will have to contend with Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen for targets but his performances in 2023 warrant those looks.
