The 2022 NFL season is officially complete now that there has been a conclusion to Super Bowl LVII. The Kansas City Chiefs earned their second ring in the past four years when they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in a thrilling and competitive game. The Chiefs came from behind to earn the Vince Lombardi trophy this year behind MVP Patrick Mahomes.

In addition to being the most viewed television program of every year, the annual Super Bowl is also the absolute headliner of the gambling world. It's by far the most bet-on sporting event of each year, with billions of dollars changing hands during the big game.

Popular musical recording artist Drake is familiar with gambling on sporting events. He often shares his high-priced bets on his social media accounts, allowing the public to follow along with his actions. He was as happy as anyone when the Chiefs earned the victory, as it netted him more than half a million dollars worth of profit, taking home a cool $512,000.

Drake reportedly made seven bets on Super Bowl LVII. He turned in a disappointing 1-6 record across his seven bets, but still came away with a major profit. His winning wager on the Chiefs moneyline far outweighed any of his other bets. He apparently risked $700,000 on the Chiefs to win the game, paying out $1.477 million.

Drake's other six losing wagers for the Super Bowl totaled $265,000, bringing his total amount risk to just a hair under a million. Subtracting his wager amount from his winning total is what brings his net profit to $512,000.

In addition to his moneyline victory with the Chiefs, Drake also placed six prop bets on the Super Bowl this year.

He was not as lucky on the prop wagers as he was on his massive moneyline hit. It was impossible for Drake to hit all six of his prop bets, as he made one contradicting wager. He bet on both Patrick Mahomes and JuJu Smith-Schuster to record the first non-throwing touchdown of the game.

Obviously, they can't both be the player to do so, but Drake essentially lowered his potential payout for a higher probability of cashing in on one of them. They both failed to do so, as Jalen Hurts recorded a rushing touchdown to open the scoring. This also led to Drake missing both of his multi-moneyline wagers, incorrectly predicting the Chiefs to win both halves and all four quarters.

The final angle that Drake unsuccessfully bet on during Super Bowl LVII was for Travis Kelce to be named the MVP of the game. He doubled down on this prediction, betting on Kelce to win the award as well as the position of the winner to be a tight end. The second wager opened up the possibility of a payout if Dallas Goedert were to be named the MVP as well, along with Kelce.

Neither Kelce nor any of the other tight ends who played in the game were named MVPs. This honor went to Patrick Mahomes, earning the second Super Bowl MVP trophy of his impressive career.
