Anthony Richardson continues to impress in the NFL world. The highly rated QB prospect threw today during the Florida Gators' pro day and was seen launching the football on many throws.
On one pass, Richardson displayed his power by throwing the ball so high that it hit the roof of the Gators' indoor facility.

According to Richardson, he reportedly threw the ball at the roof on purpose. He said via Alber Breer:
"I'd seen Will Levis do it. Thought I'd see if I could put a hole through it."
Richardson closed out his pro day by launching a 74-yard bomb down the field.
Today's pro day will only create more chatter of him climbing up in the draft and potentially going number one overall.
Anthony Richardson NFL draft projection: Could Florida QB go #1?
Anthony Richardson has boosted his draft stock more than any other player heading into the 2023 NFL Draft.
In December, his range was anywhere from round one to round three. Fast forward to a month before the draft and there is serious talk of the Florida prospect going number one overall.
He met with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday night, who hold the number one overall pick in the draft.
Head coach Frank Reich raved about Richardson as a player at the Annual League Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. Reich said Via ESPN:
"He's an exciting player. Even before the combine, watching his tape, there are plays and throws all over the tape that scream top-of-the draft pick."
Richardson could go number one overall. He has great size at 6'4 232lbs and posted tremoundous numbers at the combine with a 40 1/2-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-9 broad jump.
Why Anthony Richardson shouldn't go number one overall
While the talent and athleticism is there, let's not forget how horrendous Anthony Richardson was for most of the time on the football field.
He has a career record of 6-7 in college while failing to complete 54% of passes. In his only season where he started the entire season, he threw 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions, which isn't impressive. He's only started one career season in college.
Other quarterbacks such as CJ Stroud and Bryce Young have done much more throughout their collegiate careers than Richardson. Young is a Heisman winner and has won a National Championship while scoring over 87 touchdowns in college.
Stroud accounted for 82 total touchdowns in college and threw for over 7,000 yards.
