George Kittle is in the prime of his NFL career as one of the league's best tight ends. Although his time with the San Francisco 49ers is far from over, Kittle did acknowledge his plans once he hangs up the cleats. The four-time Pro Bowler did not hold back when the matter was brought up earlier this month.

The 49ers star feels he's got the personality to make the transition from the NFL to the WWE if and when the time comes to make the move.

Kittle said:

"Sounds fun!"

Without question, he is a major WWE fan. The All-Pro has been seen at events such as "Monday Night Raw" over the years, despite the workload of being an NFL player. George Kittle made an appearance back in September 2019 on "SmackDown," which was held at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The former Iowa Hawkeyes' WWE fandom runs so deep that he even tried to rush a postgame press conference. After the 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 of the 2018 season, Kittle looked a bit anxious at the podium.

A WWE event at the SAP Center in San Jose started a half-hour from when he started answering questions. Kittle was decked out in an old-school Stone Cold Steve Austin shirt. Once the press conference was over, Kittle made a dash to the SAP Center to catch the event.

A possible move to the WWE ring would be at home for George Kittle. However, it wouldn't be the first time that an NFL star would step into the WWE world.

George Kittle would not be the first NFL star to enter the world of WWE

Recently retired tight end Rob Gronkowski appeared at WrestleMania 33 to aid his friend, then-WWE star Mojo Rawley. Gronkowski entered the squared circle during the Andre the Giant Battle Royal match. The Super Bowl-winner clotheslined superstar Jinder Mahal, making it possible for Rawley to eliminate Jinder and win the match.

Going back a bit further, Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor faced former WWE superstar Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI in April 1995. The main event match saw Taylor and a host of NFL stars defeat Bigelow and The Million Dollar Corporation.

Let's see if George Kittle finds himself at this year's WrestleMania, which will be held at the SoFi Stadium, a place he's quite familiar with.
