Justin Jefferson enjoyed the best season of his NFL career in the 2022-23 campaign. The Minnesota Vikings receiver had put himself in contention for MVP shouts.

However, Jefferson and the Vikings were eliminated from the postseason in the Wild Card round by the New York Giants.

Nevertheless, football fans will see Jefferson in action at the Pro Bowl this weekend. The receiver earned his third Pro Bowler honor in as many years after another stellar campaign with Minnesota. He also took to Twitter to reveal his excitement at playing in the annual event.

Jefferson took part in the best catch competition on Thursday as part of the Pro Bowl festivities. He looked in good spirits during the skill competition. The 24-year-old is also expected to suit up for the NFC in their 7-on-7 flag football game later on Sunday.

The receiver may combine with another one of his Vikings teammates in the form of Kirk Cousins. The quarterback is expected to start for the NFC conference during the game at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Justin Jefferson racked up the most receiving yards (1,809) and the most receptions (128) by any player in the NFL during the regular season. He linked up expertly with Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins throughout the campaign, helping the team clinch the NFC North division with a 13-4 record.

The receiver caught eight touchdowns through the air and also rushed for one score while featuring in all 17 regular season matchups. With Jefferson performing at the best of his ability, the Vikings were tipped to make a deep run into the playoffs.

However, the receiver didn't have the best of games against the New York Giants in the Wild Card round. He finished with 47 receiving yards on seven receptions as Minnesota crashed out of the postseason.

The Giants moved forward with a 31-24 win and faced Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional playoffs, a match they lost. Minnesota Vikings, meanwhile, were forced to look ahead at the next season.
