She wasted no time asserting her college dominance, as she was named Pac-12 Freshman and Player of the Week for the week ending February 11, 2020. She was magnificent all season long and ended as the Softball America Freshman of the Year.

During her freshman year in 2021, Maya had a .333 batting average, nine multiple-RBI games, and six stolen bases. Brady tied for second with 13 home runs, third with 36 runs batted in, 31 runs scored, and 19 walks. Following an outstanding season, she was named to the first-team All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All-Freshman team, and NFCA first team All-American.

As if that wasn't good enough, Brady started the 2023 college season with 11 consecutive hits, setting a new UCLA school record, surpassing Bruins legends Stacey Nuveman and Lisa Fernandez, who had 10 successive hits.

Brady's college resume is incredible, as the 5'10" utility player has won the following awards, namely, NFCA First Team All-American (2021), Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team (2022), 2-time All-Pac-12 honoree (First Team - 2021; Third Team - 2022), NFCA National Player of the Week (February 14, 2023), among many others.
