"Is that really winning" - When Patrick Mahomes' mother called out Gisele Bundchen over Chiefs' 31-9 Super Bowl loss

Super Bowl LV pitted Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What was expected to be an affair that kept everyone at the edge of their seats ended up in a lopsided win for the Bucs, earning Brady his seventh Super Bowl win.

While Brady and his fans were elated, Mahomes' family was particularly unhappy with how the game was refereed.

Interestingly, Mahomes' mother Randi ended up tweeting to Brady's now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen in the process. Apparently, Randi Mahomes believed that the referees did not officiate the game well.

"What a joke ref!!! Really," Randi wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

Later, Bundchen tweeted to cheer Brady, a tweet which the NFL refs liked. Randi made sure to point the same out on Twitter, unhappy about the recent turn of events.

"I see the @nfl ...refs liked this tweet. Proof!!!" Randi wrote in reply to Bundchen's tweet.

In another tweet, Randi added:

"If you have to have the ref on your team is that really winning!!! @giseleofficial lol"

Brittany Mahomes also tweeted the same day, referring to the officiating as 'bullshit'.

Chiefs fans agreed with Randi and Brittany, calling out the NFL on social media. Many though, thought that the Mahomes' were sore losers. These fans were happy about Brady winning another title.

Just like his mother, Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany is vocal about seemingly unfair refs during games. Brittany often live tweets games, reacting to every win or loss for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sometimes, the fans and Brittany move to blame the referees, speaking against some unfair decisions made during the game.

Brittany was particularly upset during Mahomes' loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, who have upset the Chiefs during consecutive appearances.

"Woweeeeee we got a call for us," Brittany wrote in one tweet.

The fitness trainer and former athlete was not present at the venue and chose to live tweet to let out her frustration. She added:

"I mean at this point it’s just a joke. We can never catch a break."

Other fans agreed with Brittany online, sharing images she ended up sharing on her timeline. Of course, this is not the first time a member of the Patrick Mahomes' family has called out the refs.

That being said, Brittany might not attend a Chiefs game personally for some time. The couple recently welcomed their second child Bronze into the world. They often share photos of their small family online.

Considering the recent events, it might be some time before Brittany travels or shows up to a Chiefs game in person.
