The Jacksonville Jaguars' fan base is extremely observant, but it appears that the NFL Shop isn't.

The shop sells team apparel, jerseys and hats, and also has athletes on each team's front page. The website recently copped criticism for featuring wide receiver DJ Chark on the Jaguars' front page despite the fact that he's not on their roster anymore.

Chark was drafted by the team in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft out of LSU. He played for the Jaguars from 2018-2021. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2019, when he recorded 73 receptions, 1,008 yards, and eight receiving touchdowns. These were all career highs.

Chark entered the offseason as a free agent and signed with the Detroit Lions on a one-year, $10 million deal in March.

As such, one fan on social media was quick to point out the NFL shop's mistake.

The website, to its credit, acted on the adivse and corrected the error.

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have reached out to the proper team to get this corrected. If you have any other questions, please feel free to send me a DM."

Other Twitter users were quick to highlight that the error was fixed. The cover now features a picture of Trevor Lawrence.

The Jaguars lost their best wide receiver in DJ Chark this offseason. But they've compensated by adding a few new weapons for second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence to work with.

They signed Christian Kirk to a four-year, $84 million deal, making him one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL. They also added wide receiver Zay Jones, who, most recently, played for the Las Vegas Raiders. They also improved at the tight end position by signing Evan Engram.

After a miserable 2021-22 season, the Jaguars will be hoping to turn their fortunes around this year and possibly fight for a playoff spot.
