Cooper Kupp's season is in jeopardy and so is Aaron Donald's future, according to one NFL analyst. Speaking on Pro Football Talk, NFL analyst Mike Florio essentially wrote off the Los Angeles Rams following the news that he would miss most of the rest of the year. He said:

"The Rams are not fine, and to make matters even worse, Cooper Kupp suffered an injured ankle on Sunday [and] had surgery. He will be placed on injured reserve. It's going to take five to six weeks for him to recover. I think at that point you might just say 'forget it.'"

He continued, pressuring the on-site media to ask Aaron Donald if he wants to retire:

"Aaron Donald needs to be asked, ‘do you regret coming back and how much does this season impact your willingness to keep playing beyond this year?’ I think he's got to be asking himself. You're getting toward the end of it and you go through a season like this... I think that the question needs to be asked."

The arguable top two stars of the Los Angeles Rams may have played their final game together. If Kupp doesn't return this year and Donald retires, the game against the Arizona Cardinals could be their final rodeo. How long have the two been on the same team?

Aaron Donald predates the wide receiver as he was drafted in 2014. Kupp was drafted in 2017. During their stretch together, the pair's team played in two Super Bowls. In the first game, the wide receiver was injured and missed the contest.

The Rams ultimately lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. In the second game, both were healthy and shined in key spots.

In the final offensive drive of the game, the wide receiver led the charge, ultimately scoring a go-ahead touchdown. In the final defensive drive of the game, Aaron Donald sacked Joe Burrow to essentially end the game.
