Similar to Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers, the Indianapolis Colts have struggled for form in recent weeks. Both teams find themselves with three wins after Week 9 and in a difficult spot with regard to their playoff ambitions.

The Colts had clearly seen enough as they not only ended up benching recently acquired starter Matt Ryan but also firing head coach Frank Reich. If the news wasn't shocking enough, the franchise quickly followed it up. Their decision to hire former NFL player-turned-analyst Jeff Saturday as interim head coach definitely made everyone in the league take notice.

While appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers was asked about the Colts' hiring decision. Not one to shy away from making a comment, the Packers QB went on to say:

"I was very surprised. Definitely. It's so rare that somebody. I know he's coached in high school, right? But definitely no NFL coaching experience."

The reigning two-time NFL MVP was clearly baffled by the franchise's decision to bring on Saturday. While Saturday is remembered fondly by Colts fans for his time as a player, his lack of coaching experience is something Aaron Rodgers found concerning:

"It's all a bit different. Usually, they appoint someone from the staff, right? I'm just surprised. Like it's rare. But hopefully, it works out for them. I don't have a strong opinion about this. I just think it's it's surprising because it's just right. It hasn't been done before. I mean, in recent history."

In search of a win, Saturday will have to lead his team against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10. They will look to make their mark on the former Colts player's debut as an NFL head coach.

Packers fan Lil Wayne says he would never want to be Aaron Rodgers' teammate

If you didn't know already, Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Wayne is a massive Packers fan. So after witnessing his team start 3-6, Wayne took out his frustration on Rodgers during an appearance on Undisputed:

"You know, as a competitor, (Rodgers) kind of reminds me of Tom Brady with the competitiveness and all that, but I don't think he would do that. But what I can say is that he's playing, I definitely believe that it has something to do it. I don't think he's just doing it on purpose. I think that has just naturally happened."

Lil Wayne questioned the quarterback's commitment on the field and said he wouldn't want to put his body on the line for Aaron Rodgers:

"If I was a player on that team, it’s hard to come to work every day and know that I’m playing with someone that doesn’t want me on the field. So it’s hard for me to run through a wall for that guy."

Throwing three interceptions against the current Detroit Lions defense shows just how much Aaron Rodgers' form has taken a hit. Given the quarterback's current form and recent contract saga, one can't help but sense the feeling of deja vu in Green Bay with Jordan Love waiting on the sidelines.
