Aaron Rodgers jabs back at Josh Allen over his cheating comments

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen are perhaps two of the best at their position in the NFL. But when it comes to golf, Rodgers seems to be the better player.

With so much controversy surrounding Rodgers' handicap and the fact that he won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, some have floated the idea that the Packers star cheated. Now, we know that likely isn't true and that Rodgers got hot and that when it comes to golf handicaps, it can get a little messy.

Who will win the Super Bowl?

Rodgers was on his weekly spot on "The Pat McAfee Show" and detailed that Allen had two different caddies (the second one was a swing coach) on his bag during the first two rounds of the Pro-Am. He said that Allen wasn't good enough to have a swing coach when playing golf. He also hinted that all the anger at him winning is down to one thing... jealously.

"Josh, you're not good enough," Rodgers said. "I've seen you play. We played in the match together. But I love Josh. Josh is one of my favorite players in the league and he's gotten better for sure. He's definitely gotten better. But definitely some jealousy, you know, because there's only one of these that's given out."

While many still harbor some anger at the fact Rodgers won with his handicap being what it was, the bottom line is he was the winner, and given that the event was a Pro-Am, no one can really be too upset at it, can they?

What's next for Rodgers?

There is a lot that still has to play out regarding the quarterback's playing future. Multiple options are on the table for the four-time MVP winner, all of which have a good chance of happening.

Having accomplished virtually everything he can in the game, a move to a rebuilding team isn't on the agenda. So, if the Packers were to move off of their star, it would likely be to a contender in the AFC, not the NFC.

Retirement is also a strong possibility as well, having dabbled in the thought last offseason.

Just what will end up happening is anyone's guess, but hopefully the NFL neutrals will not have to wait long to find out.
